This month of thanks went by really quickly. Of course, there are so many people and so many things that I wasn't able to capture in my photo-a-day. I promise that just because the month is over, I won't stop giving thanks.

Today, I am thankful for...

The four most important people in my life.

I am SO thankful for the kindness of your heart, Paisley. And the belly laughs you have, Hudson . And the spunk you bring to the family, Madden. And for the snuggles you always give, Everleigh. I will be forever thankful that I was chosen to be your mom.

Little babies in the bath. Or in this case, just this one. It's rare that she's in the tub alone. So cute. So fun.

The fact that we didn't get kicked out of the public library tonight.

And actually...the twins were pretty good...it was Everleigh who was the stinker. She yelled "MAMA!" about 735 times. She was SO loud! She would not sit for books and was only interested in messing with the computer with the library catalog on it.

I am seriously thankful for music. I heart it. Big time. My favs in no particular order are: Jack Johnson, Pearl Jam, Ludacris, Rob Thomas, Nelly, Justin Timberlake, Fleetwood Mac, Incubus, Maroon 5, Nicki Manaj and Dave Matthews Band.

Old Traditions.

Even though growing up it was just my mom and I, she always made sure we picked out a real tree. The best part of my memories are thinking about how she and I got that tree home...with our car. Now my family of 6 continues the tradition of getting a real tree, and throwing that puppy on the roof of our van and praying the whole way home that it doesn't fall.

New traditions.

Meet Oliver. He's our Elf on the Shelf. (If you don't know what an Elf on the Shelf is...google it!) I'm positive Oliver will be some of their best childhood memories. I love that.

My extended family.

Some of my favorite memories as a child include playing with my aunts, uncles and cousins. I love the fact that nothing has changed.

My friend, the space heater. We go way back. Well, not this exact one. I go through about 1-2 per year. I just might be addicted to this little guy. So today, and every other day, I am thankful for my little heater. The end.

DANCE.

I love dance about as much as my children. I cry when I watch dance competitions. I get goosebumps when teams are about to perform. It's in my blood. I hope Paisley enjoys dancing even half as much as I did. Now I live the dance life again, vicariously though her.

Cousins.

I hope some day Makyah and Cambree realize how much the little ones look up to them! Such a silly, fun bunch!

My flexible schedule.

Today I attended the Harvest Breakfast with Paisley at her school. She kept saying, "I can't believe we are eating breakfast at school...together!!!"

Paper Plates. When we run out, I panic.

Our dishwasher. It may not be new, or even pretty. But I'm pretty sure I might die without that sucker. I heart it.

Buying in bulk. We go through a lot of food. A lot. Buying 12 Mac n Cheese and a ginormous tub of strawberries makes me happy.

For those things, I am thankful.

The first love of our lives. Mr Oscar Miller may hog the bed, steal my favorite blankets, lick like crazy and eat baby wipes, but he is the best dog we could ever ask for. He was born in my heart and will always have a big piece of it!

Us.

For nearly 17 years (how is that even possible?!) it's been us. And although we aren't just Brook & Craig anymore...somewhere, way underneath the four children, dog, piles of laundry and bills...we are there. Not quite the same as when we first met...but so much more. The history is rich. The love is deep. And to say I'm thankful for us is an understatement.

There isn't really a way on paper to describe how important she is to me. She's the first person I call, the one who makes me laugh the hardest and someone I am so thankful to have in my life.

As the 365 nears an end, I'm taking the month of November as a month of thanks. What am I, mom of 4, daughter, best friend, wife, educator and post-it fanatic thankful for? A lot! And because the pictures have to represent my day...these things are in no way in order of importance.
